Dear Richardson Middle School Families,

I am writing to share the news that I have made the decision to retire as Principal of Richardson Middle School. My last day with CPS will be August 8, 2025.

Serving this community for the past eight years as Principal of Richardson has been the greatest privilege of my career. Working alongside incredible educators, supportive families, and inspiring students has been an honor I will always treasure.

Richardson has been more than just a place of work—it’s been a second home. A place of laughter, learning, challenges and celebration. From the first day I walked through these doors, Richardson has been a source of profound joy and pride. 

As I look ahead to retirement, I do so with peace, gratitude, and countless wonderful memories. I know I will miss the daily joy and energy of working alongside our talented and dedicated educators, supportive families, and inspiring students-together we have built a school culture
committed to learning and growth.

Thank you for allowing me to be part of your children’s lives. I will always carry Richardson Middle School with me and will remain a proud supporter of Richardson and its continued success.

When the Local School Council (LSC) along with support from the District finish their work of choosing a new principal, you will be notified.

Estimadas familias de Richardson,

Les escribo para informales de la decisión que he tomado de retirarme como Directora de la escuela Richardson. Mi último día será el viernes 8 de agosto del 2025.

Servirle a la comunidad como Directora de Richardson los últimos ocho años ha sido el mayor privilegio de mi carrera. Trabajar en conjunto con educadores increíbles, familias apoyadoras, y estudiantes inspiradores ha sido un honor que siempre apreciaré.

Richardson ha sido más que un lugar de trabajo—ha sido un segundo hogar, un lugar de risa, aprendizaje, desafíos y celebración. Desde el primer dia que entre por estas puertas, Richardson ha sido una fuente de orgullo y alegría profunda. 

Cuando veo hacia mi retiro, lo hago con paz, gratitud, y numerosas memorias maravillosas. Se que extrañare la alegría y energía diaria de trabajar en conjunto con nuestros educadores talentosos y dedicados, familias apoyadoras, y estudiantes inspiradores-juntos hemos construido una cultura escolar comprometida a aprender y crecer. 

Gracias por dejarme ser parte de la vida de su estudiante. Siempre llevaré a Richardson conmigo y seguiré apoyando con honor a la escuela Richardson y sus logros continuos.

Cuando el Concilio Local Escolar (LSC) junto con el apoyo del Distrito, terminen el trabajo de escoger un/a nuevo/a director/a, usted será notificado.
