CLOUSTON'S CORNER
Greetings and welcome to Richardson Middle School, home of the Raging Rhinos! As
principal of Richardson Middle School, it is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the
2024-2025 school year.
It is our goal at Richardson Middle School to provide a middle school experience that
prepares students for the next level, both academically and socially in an environment that
nurtures and supports young people at this grade level. We provide a quality education
through shared responsibility in a safe and supportive environment. We want all Richardson
Middle School students and families to be aware of our School’s Mission Statement that is
printed above-it is the “why” we do what we do. Please take a moment to read it over.
This handbook has been prepared to explain and clarify the procedures, policies, and
regulations at Richardson Middle School. Please read it thoroughly to familiarize yourself
with the information.
This student planner is more than a homework planner. It is designed to help students plan
their work, manage their time, record their achievements, review their progress and set goals
for improvement. But, the planner will only be of benefit if students use it and keep all the
sections up to date. Parents please review your student’s planner periodically to check on
their progress with keeping up with their classwork.
